GOLF IS HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Playing golf is good for your body and mind.
A study conducted by the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) Physical Activity for Health Research showed that golfing extends life and makes it healthier, helps prevent and treat many chronic diseases (even 40, from diabetes to cancer) and improves mental health by counteracting the onset of depression and anxiety. Not to mention that being on the green allows you to consume calories (on average 500 for an 18-hole course).
RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT – The Italian Golf Federation has been active for years with the project “Committed to the green”, which rewards the most attentive circles to defend the territory and maintain the maximum of eco-sustainability. Furthermore, it maintains a fruitful collaboration with Legambiente, the UniVerde Foundation and Federparchi.
